    • How to Simplify Your Business for Summer

In this episode, we’re talking all about preparing for the summer season while maintaining your business momentum. As we hit the halfway mark of 2024 and school is about to end, it’s time to think about how to slow down and enjoy summer without letting your business fall behind. I'll share my strategies for planning ahead, simplifying tasks, and maintaining a balance between work and life during the busy summer months.

      Key Takeaways:

      1. Get Organized and Plan Ahead: Ensure your business is well-organized and plan out your tasks in advance. This helps you transition smoothly into a slower summer pace without missing a beat.
      2. Batch and Automate: Create and schedule your content ahead of time to maintain your business presence. This allows you to enjoy your summer without constantly worrying about your online visibility.
      3. Prep Your Mindset and Find Community: Mentally prepare for the shift and set boundaries to stay present. Lean on your entrepreneurial community for support, ensuring you have a solid network during the chaotic summer months.
      4. How are you feeling about handling your summer schedule? Share your thoughts in the review section or send me a DM on Instagram!

      5. Why Your Instagram Followers Don’t Matter for Business Success

In this episode, we are getting bossy and a little spicy! I'm challenge the popular belief that more followers on social media automatically equates to business success. Here's what you'll learn:

        1. Vanity Metrics Are Misleading: Having thousands of followers doesn't necessarily translate to more sales or a successful business. Authentic engagement and real connections with your audience are far more valuable.

        2. Quality Over Quantity: It's not about the number of followers but the quality of those relationships. Building a community of engaged and supportive followers can have a much more significant impact on your business than just increasing numbers for the sake of it.

        3. Effective Growth Strategies: Instead of focusing on growing your follower count, put your energy into authentic engagement, networking, guest speaking, and building an email list. These strategies will help you create meaningful connections and enhance your business visibility and growth.

        4. Tune in to this episode to understand why your follower count isn't as important as you might think and to discover actionable steps to authentically boost your business.

        5. What I’ve Learned from Building Successful Communities: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

This month, we've been diving deep into the concept of community and how it plays a crucial role in business. As we wrap up this topic, I want to share some valuable lessons I've learned from my experiences building local community- from a local network over the past year to community within my business and brand for the past decade +. I'm breaking down the good, bad, and everything in between!

          Key Takeaways from This Episode:

          1. Creating a Welcoming Atmosphere: A positive and inclusive vibe encourages engagement and long-term participation in the community.

          2. Consistency is Crucial: Regularly scheduled meetups build trust and anticipation among members.

          3. Emphasizing Collaboration Over Competition: Focusing on collaboration creates unity and promotes collective growth.

          4. Building a community has its highs and lows, but the connections and support make it all worthwhile. Remember, it’s all about learning and growing together. Tune in to learn more about creating and nurturing your own community!

          5. What Community Over Competition REALLY Means
Raise your hand if you preach community over competition… We all do! While it’s a lovely sentiment and the women-supporting-women movement has been empowering, there's a lot of fake support out there. Today, we’re diving into what REAL community over competition looks like.
            Key Takeaway:
If you’ve ever felt uncomfortable around your ‘competition’, know that it's normal and a shift in perspective can change everything. Embrace collaboration, celebrate others' successes, and create a community where everyone rises together.
Community over competition isn't just a trendy phrase—it’s a powerful mindset that can transform your business and life. Immersing yourself in genuine communities will make this mindset easier to adopt. Share your stories and struggles with feeling competitive, and let's continue to support and uplift each other.
Stay bossy and remember: Collaboration is the ultimate boss move!

            • Unbossing the 'Girl Boss'

In today's episode, we're debunking the "Girl Boss" and exploring what it means to embrace genuine leadership and boundaries in your life and business.

              Key Points From This Epsiode:

              1. Owning Your Leadership Role: Step into your CEO role by taking ownership of your schedule, priorities, and boundaries. Define the kind of leader you want to be without conforming to outdated stereotypes.

              2. Reclaiming Your Time: Evaluate where you're investing your time and energy. You have the authority to prioritize tasks that align with your goals and values.

              3. Sustainability Over Busyness: Recognize what feels sustainable for you in your current season. Not every idea needs immediate action. Implement a system to revisit and execute ideas when the time is right.

              4. By implementing these strategies, you'll regain control and authenticity in your business journey. Remember to stay true to yourself and your vision—authenticity is key to real success. Stay empowered and unboss the 'Girl Boss' mentality. Until next time, stay bossy!

Welcome back to the podcast! It's been a long-awaited return, and I'm thrilled to be back behind the mic... with a NEW NAME! We took a hiatus last October, not just for this show but for a complete business overhaul where I paused everything that wasn't essential. This break was necessary because my business took a major pivot in May 2023 with the creation of the Olympia Boss Society, a local networking community. Now that we are back, and rebranded, I'm excited to catch you up on what we've been up to BTS!

                Key Takeaways From This Episode:

                • How long form content can simplify your business plan.
                • Why we shifted the branding focus to serve all women entrepreneurs with limited time.
                • Embracing the idea that doing less can lead to more significant growth.
                • The importance of self-trust and flexibility in business evolution.
                • I'm still figuring things out every day, practicing self-trust, and embracing flexibility. This discovery phase has been surprisingly liberating. Despite facing tough personal challenges in Q1, downsizing my workload allowed me to navigate those hurdles while achieving my most financially successful quarter yet.

Join me on this journey of self-trust and business evolution. Follow along as I share my experiences, lessons, and the new way of doing things. Expect weekly episodes—some solo, some with guests—as we dive into spicy topics and life-proof our businesses together.

Stay tuned for exciting updates on my Instagram, new resources, speaking engagements, mentorship opportunities, and the growth of Olympia Boss Society—all aligned with my vision of success. It feels incredible to be back, and I can't wait to continue this conversation with you.
