Let’s Get Dangerous

Feeling a little lost? Feel like your life lacks purpose and direction? Just looking for some nice people to have tea and biccies with on a Sunday? The "How deep this conversation got at times" to "How much work Stephen put into preparing a topic" ratio is very heavily skewed to the left hand side on this one. Enjoy.

It's weird, skydiving has always been one of our go-to examples when we try to explain the idea of this podcast to someone but it somehow took us 28 episodes to get around to discussing it. Life is strange sometimes.

Life stuff got in the way of us recording an episode this week and, when life gives us lemons, Stephen digs into the archives and tries to make sweet, comedic lemonade. Podcasts are way better than life because you can usually solve most of your problems with clever editing and liberal use of a low pass filter. Enjoy.

In our latest episode, the gang discuss the pros and cons of one of Spain's most controversial pastimes. We also (hopefully) manage to keep the tone pretty light for what is potentially a rather heavy subject.

If you want to check out more of Jacob Lingard's stuff and maybe even buy one of his shirts, go to:

(We weren't paid to say this. We're just repping a talented designer and a good guy because we like his stuff and he deserves it.)

Woo! Another Zoom episode! If you're thinking of downloading this episode illegally then beware, it 's rated arrrrrrrrrrrrr. We recorded this episode right before it was due to drop so my quest to edit it and upload it in time really came down to the (lime)wire. Hoo boy, pirate puns are hard. I think I need a nap(ster). You WinMX some, you lose some. I dunno, something about KaZaa?

How do you do an episode centred around Point Break when 2/3 of your hosts haven't seen it? With great difficulty, it turns out. Still, it led to some beautiful, absurd tangents as well as Matt dropping an absolute bombshell about his past.

Who enjoyed last week's exploration on the pros and (almost entirely) cons of cannibalism? Well we hope you left room for seconds because we're back with part 2! Ever wanted to see 2/3 of your hosts try to bargain for their lives? Us neither, but here we are and we hope you enjoy it.

They say you shouldn't go grocery shopping when you're hungry otherwise you'll just end up buying a bunch of food you don't really need. With that in mind, we can't help but wonder what was going through Matt's mind when he decided cannibalism would be our topic. There's so much to unpack here that one episode just wasn't enough so be sure to come back next week for part 2.

Remember a few episodes back where Stephen theorised that Wile E. Coyote was caught in some kind of Groundhog-esque time loop? Well he sure as hell does so now we're discussing the pros and cons of being caught in a time loop that only you are aware of. Would you try to better yourself? Live the perfect day? Just run wild without fear of consequence? Most importantly, IS IT DANGEROUS?!?!?

Matt is back and we're going to discuss his unique vision for sexing up archaeology. Without Vee to referee, this one goes some places.
