He now owns and operates Popovic Hockey Academy based in Colorado and works with upcoming generations to develop their hockey and leadership skills. Hockey Podcast we welcome Eriah Hayes to the podcast to talk about his journey through the hockey world.  The Minnesota native played college hockey along side co-host Danny Heath, where he was a 2x WCHA all-academic team & WCHA All-Star plus captain his senior year. During his pro career, he had stints with the Worchester Sharks of the AHL before making his NHL debut with the San Jose Sharks in January of 2014. After a season with the AHL Chicago Wolves, he retired in 2017. He's now giving back to his home town through athlete development as the owner of Five7 and the Head Coach of his alma mater, La Crescent High School hockey team.

After spending 3 years in the NAHL, Nelson played NCAA D1 hockey for MNSU Mavericks (best school in the country) where he won a 2014 WCHA Championship.  Made his coaching debut with Shattuck St. Mary's before moving to Wichita Falls in the NAHL and is currently the Assistant Coach for the Muskegon Lumberjacks in the USHL.

Played NCAA D1 hockey for RPI from 2007-2011, during which he was team captain for his Junior & Senior seasons. After RPI, made his pro debut in the CHL for the Dayton Gems before heading to Australia to play in the AIHL He recenty transitioned from playing in the league to being the Head Coach of the Newcastle Northstars & was the 2019 AIHL Coach of the Year. Plus, he's the founder & director of National Sport Academy Hockey (NSA Hockey), the premier hockey development academy in Australia.

This week we welcome Marty Quarters to The Let's Go! Hockey Podcast to talk about his journey through the game of hockey.   The Detroit native has been coaching for 25+ years, including stints with teams in several leagues, including NCAA D1, USHL, NAHL, USHPL, WSHL, Nor-Pac, MJHL, and AAA.  Quarters was named USPHL Coach of the year in 2017 and is currently heading into his 7th season as the Head Coach & Gm of the Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings.
