Ryan grew up in Southern California, wanted to be Jim Carry/comedian growing up and played baseball for most of his life. Then one day discovered wildland  firefighting which led him down a path to pursue EMS and helping people from working as an EMT on an ambulance, EMT in the hospital Emergency Department and becoming a firefighter. He also works as the medic on movie sets and found the importance of staying fit physically and mentally. Listen in and be inspired, LET’S GO!

Christopher H. Markey was born and raised in Luling, Louisiana. He is the oldest of 4 siblings and went to Jesuit High School and was awarded Mr. Football 2004 and New Orleans Prep Hall of Fame. Chris went on to UCLA on an athletic scholarship and graduated with a BA in Sociology and an AA in Fire Science. After college, he played arena football in Billings, Montana, with the Billing Outlaws from 2009-2010 and European football in Zurich, Switzerland, with the Zurich Renegades from 2011-2012. Chris coached high school football when his football career ended and is now a firefighter in the state of Nevada. Chris is has accomplished so much in his life but not without some struggle. He enjoys his career as a firefighter because he is about helping others and making his community better. WHAT A GUY! Listen in and be inspired, LET’S GO!
