Today we line up a DIPA from the Houston area vs. a DIPA from NYC. Bronc Stomper West Coast Style DIPA from Back Pew Brewing takes on SixPoint Brewery's Resin DIPA. They turn out to be strikingly different beers each suiting a different palate. No politics, current events or banter. . . just straight beer talk today

As promised, today we sample another locally brewed pilsner, the H-Town Pils by Saint Arnold Brewing. This beer was much more predictable than the 713 sampled yesterday. This well brewed beer deserves a try if you are in or visiting the Houston area.

After a long hiatus, we are back, now in Houston, Texas. In today's episode we sample a local brew from Eureka Heights Brewing Company and we dabble a bit in the latest controversies surrounding Bud Light and FOX news.

Halida Beers are made by Carlsberg Vietnam, and I bought this pair of beers to showcase local mass market beers available here in Vietnam. Cue the sad trombones. . .these beers were both very disappointing to my foreign palate. I look forward to sampling some better beers in the future. . .as for these, now you will know what to avoid.

Today we enjoy a Kumiho IPA from KABREW in South Korea. We also enjoy a black beer brewed right here in Ho Chi Minh City, Kaiserin Black Beer. Come along for the ride.

Welcome back to Let's Have Another Round. Today we crack open another Korean beer from Kabrew, and although we did not know what we were getting, it was a pleasant surprise. This sessionable Pale Wheat Ale is sweet but crisp. It was a pleasure to drink. We talk a little about life in Saigon; a little about PGA Tour and LIV Golf; and a little about American politics. Just some normal banter. I'm glad to be back online with you, and I look forward to lots more reviews in the future.

Today we enjoy the flagship beer of Ho Chi Minh City's own East West Brewing Co. Come along as we crack open this can of East West Pale Ale and talk a little about mask mandates and border insecurity.

Today we have a bit of a battle between a craft lager, Platinum Zen, and Vietnam's best selling lager world-wide, 333. All beer talk, no politics :-)

Today we review Gwanghwamun Seoulite Ale and Namsan Mountain Premium Citra Ale. No politics or controversy...just beer talk. Both beers surprised me just a little, and we walk away with two thumbs up for each of them.

Today we review ARK Korea Craft Brewery's Coffee Ale and give it two thumbs up. It's a good coffee porter that gets better as it warms up closer to room temperature. This is the best of the three Korean craft beers I've reviewed so far. I also discuss Texas Governor Greg Abbott's plan to bus illegal migrants to Washington DC.
