Special effects. Plot. Casting. Soundtracks. This week we close our March Madness '25 by taking each of the topics discussed this month and ranking them based on which plays the biggest role. Who will be the victor of our first ever Final Four?

As we continue our March Madness question: "what makes a great film?", we round out our Final Four this week with the final competitor: the soundtrack. Since we have already done a LMAPL of our favorite soundtracks, we switch-it-up a little and focus on songs playing during the opening or closing credits of a film that really "set the tone". With half of the field accounted for, this week we introduce competitor number three for our March Madness '25 question, "What makes a great film?", the cast and subsequent casting. Per usual, we both have different ideas about what really sets a cast apart from the competition.
