In this episode we speak to the powerhouse woman that is Raegan Cavagnino. Raegan was born vision impaired but it wasn't until she crawled off a deck as a baby that she was finally diagnosed as legally blind and those around her were fully aware of her condition. Raegan speaks about the perceptions of others about her experience and how assumptions about her disability have caused bullying and other nasty and socially limiting behaviours. Reagan speaks openly about the difficulties that being legally blind has caused when raising her children and some of the heartache she felt when making comparisons of herself to others and their achievements. Despite her barriers and negative experiences, Reagan is empowered to inspire people just like her to go after the life that they want and not let others perceptions of your ability define your success.
