Austin and Eric travel down to the bottom of the planet to see what kind of interesting people decided to live down there. Oh look, it's Tim Irwin! Coming off his acclaimed tenure of the Artistic Director of Heartland Film, Tim joins the guys to talk about this wandering Werner Herzog film as he finds new curiosities in Antarctica from the strange people to the gay penguins. But is there meaning to it all?

Twenty-nine episodes and Austin and Eric finally get to their first documentary. That's completely.....actually that seems about right. And what a documentary to cover. Werner Herzog finds his perfect subject of Timothy Treadwell, a man who thought he could live among the bears until he is tragically killed. The guys discuss the different perspectives of Treadwell and how Herzog guides us through the mental arguments of a man who may have had real insight into nature but did not understand the basic elements.

It has been too long so Austin and Eric have returned to the jungle for an impossible task that shall question their sanity. It's time to review Fitzcarraldo! How will Fitzcararldo's attempt to push a steamboat over a mountain compare to Aguirre's quest for El Dorado? The guys discuss the ambitious tale and how it serves as a more autobiographical tale than the other films we have discussed so far.

What are podcasters but children of the night? Austin and Eric have timed everything perfectly to bring you Nosferatu the Vampyre just in time for Halloween. This is Werner Herzog's remake of the classic silent film. The guys talk about how Herzog adapts the Dracula story with new themes, how the film may actually have a wicked sense of humor and how they've never seen a mirror scene like that one.
