In a welcome development, the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC has suspended its nationwide protest, following a meeting with the federal government, on Monday, in Abuja.
According to the NLC President, Joe Ajaero, the union agreed to form a committee alongside the Federal government to discuss and initiate a proper way of handling the telecom tariff hike.
The labour union had initially organized a protest for today against the 50% tariff hike which was agreed between the telecom providers and the federal government.
