    Andrea is a poet/ chef and published author of The Power to change the way to Love yourself and the up coming Connections Between Us coming out Summer 2023. She is passionate about helping people understand the positive connection they can create with others.


    Andrea Lee writes about love , lost and betrayal. Her books and poetry have been published in Silent Spark Press, and Sims Library of Poetry. She is the co-creator of writingjourney101.com, Poetry in Motion & Verses & Vibe

    Andrea co-host a weekly poetry show on Poetry Corner every Thursday at 8pm. She  grew up in Los Angeles, CA and is the mother of four children - she is passionate about empowering and improving her community by creating literacy programs for teens and young adults.

    Ebony Morgan was born a poet, with verse and rhythm displayed as her way of communication.
    She discovered her voice at a very tender age, and began her journey to becoming EB&flo in first grade, where she performed a poem called Honey, I love by Eloise Greenfield.
    She then wrote a memoir to her Father at 8 years old.

    The love of reciting and writing was embedded into her genes.

    She began writing in journals gifted by her mother and this is where the magic began. During trips to the bookstore and much time spent in the library, she developed her craft, and today she is the Author of THE REBIRTH flat soda for roses, a multitude of poems encompassing her journey as a Black woman growing up in an urban community.

    In her book the reader will be taken on a journey of becoming. A brilliant reflection of prolific poetry and prose that promises to take you to the root of pain, the heights of gain and the deepest of love and light in the reality of urban life. Becoming. Being. A burial, that makes room for a rebirthing and emerging of a new light to shine and share with the world.

    The goal of “Conversations with Friends” is to infuse conversation back into our black community. Interpersonal conversations are necessary, in order for us to move forward as people and as a community. Our intention is to assist in opening up dialogue that will help our black and brown community grow to hate less and love more. The topics we touch on are relatable and will touch your heart, some may even disturb your soul.  However, you will always grow and learn from “Conversations with Friends”.

    Poetry Corner



    The poetry corner was created during the 2020 pandemic to bring liveliness amongst poets that were not traveling to open events.

    Having a viral platform for artist of spoken word to express their thoughts, feelings and emotions started as a great vibe.

    Now forming a life of its own we crafted a signature upon the King 

    For guests to recite their poetry and tell the audience what they have going on in social or personal life.

    We keep striving to communicate and have fun doing the poetry corner and expand to become greater.   Our mission is to provide a safe space for poets of all variety to grow by  cultivating burgeoning talent, collaborating with talent throughout the poetry community and engaging a global audience of poetry lovers.

    My name is joel washington atterbury I am a fifty year old published author and poet.

    I manifested sixteen books of poetry during a time span of four and a half years .

    I am the host of the poetry corner show on the let’s talk platform and also I host a poetry radio blog talk show on the epiphany Forreal the poet network.

    Creatively I do what is expected without correction aligning myself with the source of creation to bless the mic!

    Valerie Lorraine is a free verse poet, speaking on all matters of the heart, turmoil, fears, giving up, letting go and starting again. Valerie also works on lyrics in collaboration with musicians. She enjoys cooking, nature photography and pencil drawing. The artist in her thrives in these pastimes. 


    Her first book ‘Falling’ is available on Amazon in paperback and kindle. Watch for ‘My Life…. Untitled’ due out in summer of 2022


    As an intensely private person, Valerie has been overwhelmed by the responses to her works. The connections others feel to her words strike depths of emotions we do not always have ways to verbalize, yet here they are for you.
