Food and Nutrition is an important part of public health. Given that one of the index for Multidimensional Poverty is nutrition, it is pertinent that Plateau state tackles these issued head on. The Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning in Plateau state is doing their bit to solve the food and nutrition problems, which will also reduce child and women mortality. Abigail and Emeka spoke with Mr Lamba Peter Bot, Permanent Secretary Ministry of budget & economics planning, on the ministry's plans to deal with nutrition issues in the state.
