It feels great to end this series with a man who speaks to the community weekly a person who is very intelligent and can articulate himself profoundly. With part three of the series you will be educated on how to best equipped yourself mentally and spiritually because that’s all that we can really do. This candid conversation with Pastor Roscoe Harris of Abundant Life Ministries; was such a fantastic conversation I think it will speak to the depths of the current events that we are facing. It is so important; I should say imperative, that we have these conversations with other men and women of our race as well as other men and women of other ethnicities. This episode that I am having with my friend and colleague that is apart of Cumulus media; we’re gonna be talking about the recent events that occurred surrounding the three police officers fired from the Wilmington police Department. I desire to have this conversation pertaining to the swift yet fair professional response as the new police chief of The Wilmington Police Department Chief Donny Williams; with regards to an audit that was ran surprising to him. I’m absolutely proud that he didn’t need to do a deep investigation he saw the problem he resolved it he not only fired them but he made sure that they couldn’t go to the sheriffs office and try to find a job and hide. Men like them do not need to serve in any community;we don’t need those types of police at all. Police like them are cause of our protest and demonstrations or some would riots!! Often times, some of the most prolific information or knowledge shared isn’t always by black men who have access to social media platforms; it’s from the average Joe, The person that has substantial experience in the social inequalities that’s taking place today. We need to give people that are experiencing social and racial injustice firsthand; an opportunity to discuss their feelings and hopefully gain some important information on how to bring about a change.
