 My name is Zen Ase and I’m a best selling author, performer and globally ranked podcaster. I began journaling as a kid and have been hooked on writing ever since, but life has a way of derailing our passions. My family didn’t support my career as a writer, so I became and award winner teacher and got married. I stopped writing for 17 years. In 2014, I went through a divorce and decided to reclaim my dreams. I started writing again and performing poetry. I’ve written 5 books, four of them Amazon best sellers, and been published in dozens of magazines. I’ve performed over 100 times and organized dozens of cultural events. My work in the community gained me a Congressional Award for activism.

I've  been back to Africa 4 more times, and I've c volunteered in urban
India, and was a U.N. Volunteer in Africa.

I wrote The Pleasure Seeker because I know what it's like to be an
'other'.  People believe so many myths about others, and  now, with the
internet, those myths spread faster.  Jews are actually a minority in
the U.S,A., and most of us are secular. We're not Zionists.  But Sikh
are even more of a minority, and are constantly confused with being
either Muslim or Hindu...and are often attacked out of hatred.

I wrote Astra The Lonely Airplane, a rhyming children’s picture book, after my husband’s job as Chief Pilot of a corporate jet came to a grinding halt during the COVID-19 pandemic. I sat her beautiful interior one last time and openly wept, feeling sick to my stomach wondering what would become of her, and how long she would in the hangar before being flown again.  Astra The Lonely Airplane, (Brandylane Publishers, Inc.), a rhyming picture book, was released on March 2, 2022.  The book is appropriate for children ages 3-10, and includes a 3-minute video with an up close and personal tour of Astra with the real Captain Dan, (my husband), along with a two-page-glossary.

The second book in the series, entitled Astra In Hollywood, was released on March 4, 2024 during “Read Across America Week.” The sequel picks up where Astra The Lonely Airplane leaves us, as Astra is getting settled in to her hangar in Hollywood. She finds herself surrounded by three new friends: Lana, a sleek beautiful Learjet; a giant cargo plane named Hank; and Helen the crime-fighting helicopter! When Lana, Hank and Helen are each faced with unexpected problems, Astra discovers that you don’t need to be the fastest, strongest or bravest to be important. It’s being a good friend that makes you a star!

 This book was written to help individuals understand the importance of their well being especially when it comes to saying "I DO". Many times individuals are torn and confused on when and why they should say "I do". Many marry broken and afraid because of the beforehand issues. This will enlighten women not to be under pressure regardless the status of the relationship but to know and realize the truth of the whole matter before making a decision that could be detrimental to their mental and physical state.

 Travel is her game: She is a mother, wife, grandmother, and full-time entrepenuer. She is a former government employee of 15 years. she started her travel agency 3/2019 after the government shutdown and was able to leave HUD 5/2023. She is also a full-time network marketer and help.other, start their travel agencies and make excellent money. She is a Servant Leader by nature and is helping people all over the world enjoy the benefits of entrepreneurship

With songs like "Owee" He has a love for music so great, when he is asked why he sings, singer/songwriter Kaleo answers, “I have to breathe; singing is like breathing to me”. Born James Kaleo Ross in Killeen, Texas to a Hawaiian mother and Black father, they did well when they graced the singer with the middle name Kaleo. A Hawaiian name composed of the elements “Ka” which is “the” and “leo” which is “voice” or “sound”, its resultant meaning is ‘the voice’ or ‘the sound’. When one hears the vocals that effortlessly flow from him, indeed they agree. Kaleo is blessed with a distinctive voice and sound he is using to leave a legacy of real, meaningful and memorable music. Kaleo is introspective in prose, often writing about personal experience and his thoughts about love and relationships. “Growing up, I loved the way R & B songs made you feel inside. My music expresses a deeper feeling of love and connectivity that seems to be missing from today’s music. I like to write music that has an old school feel when love songs talked about loving someone and were used as guides to healing relationships.” Cunning and wicked with a pen, he writes clever lyrics that conjure up tangible visions of love and sensuality. His first single release, “Supaman” is no exception. “I wanted to create a song that showed a new kind of Superman; a man that was able and willing, without hesitation, to meet the needs of the woman in his life.” Kaleo has been singing for more than 18 years and is a lead vocalist with Sacramento's favorite party band Hip Service. A favorite due to his warm, smooth vocal renderings and fluid runs, he has been compared to R & B singers Joe, Donell Jones, and Stevie Wonder. Born in Miami Beach, Florida of Jamaican/American decent, Ellison Kendrick realized at an early age that music and entertainment would always be part of his life. Like most R&B artists, as a youth, he was raised in church and was an active lead vocalist of the choir. As a young teen, Ellison was the lead singer of a group that was signed to Nautica/Luke/Atlantic Records, and the group released an album and Kendrick co-wrote two singles, one of which reached #21 on the R&B charts. He was eventually signed as a solo artist to Grammy winner and R&B legend Betty Wright's Ms. B Records and toured as her backup vocalist. Ellison would later sign with EKG Records under which one single was released “Empty Bed”.

Ellison's Dynamic Career has led him to work with various artists to include other Grammy Award Nominees & Winners as Rapper Extraordinaire, DMX and International recording artist Enrique Iglesias. Ellison is also a former backing singer for Grammy Award winner Joss Stone for both (Albums and Live Performances).
