October 10th is Mental Health Day so what a perfect time to listen to my conversation with my friend, Kyle Chatzis-Fox. Kyle has his BA in psychology, his MA in counselling and is working towards becoming a registered psychotherapist.
In this episode, I share a bit of my own struggles with anxiety and depression, Kyle shares his thoughts on self-care and we discuss our own experiences of growing up in the days when there was such a stigma attached to mental health, when the church said you need more prayer, and how that is ever changing.
