Has anyone seen this new interview of Reality Reckoning with @bethennyfrankel and @raquelleviss ?
If you know me, I am and have always been a reality TV lover - I find it easy to watch and super entertaining. This year most people discovered the show VanderPump Rules because of how intense this year's scandal impacted pop culture. In the past I never had actually stepped back and thought about how these stars have been impacted by the media. I honestly always thought the show was small enough that only Bravo fans followed the show anyhow - so why would most people care?
This year everything changed, or maybe I changed. I started to feel badly for the cast members, seeing their changes in their mindset, witnessing intense conversations flow between humans interacting.
It wasn't so much that the hate wasn't justified, I honestly started to see that people are normalizing this type of hate. We as humans have to stop normalizing this culture. That's how I feel anyway.
After listening to this interview I thought, “Should I stop watching?” This week I am sharing a conversation with a few of my favorite ladies @peaceandwellnesstherapy who have a mental health practice. We’re chatting about all things relevant to mental health, and you for sure don't want to miss this. I just have to know - are you all continuing this reality TV train? Are you taking time away? Are you worried about how this is normalizing hateful language like this?
