Can you actually be afraid of your business becoming successful?
In this solo episode of The End in Mind, I’m talking about fear of success in business — and why some of our biggest opportunities can trigger fear instead of excitement.
I’m taking you back to one of the defining moments of my career: a social media campaign I led at 22, which took a local nonprofit from around 18,000 to nearly 500,000 Instagram followers in 30 days, reached millions of people, and generated approximately $73,000 in donations.
From the outside, it looked like incredible success. Behind the scenes, that rapid growth created uncertainty, pressure, and a lot of fear.
Eight years later, I see that experience completely differently.
We’re talking about what fear can teach entrepreneurs, why rapid business growth requires preparation, how fear can keep us in fight, flight, or freeze, and why sustainable growth matters just as much as getting results.
Fear doesn’t always mean you’re going in the wrong direction. Sometimes it appears because you’re stepping into something bigger than what you’ve experienced before.
