Gwendolyn developed award winning cultural competence trainings in Western Massachusetts. She is the founding Director of Equity and Inclusion at Bard College at Simon's Rock. In 2015-16 Gwendolyn was recognized as a "Berkshire Trendsetter" by 1 Berkshire as an entrepreneur/vision of the year while Multicultural Bridge was recognized with the Nonprofit impact award. In 2016 Berkshire Magazine named Gwendolyn one of the 25 most creative, talented and influential leaders in the Berkshires.
