Joyce Lewis is a white woman, the mother of two white and two black sons. Her family talks about race. Race is very complex. No one's experience of race is the same. Its time for us to talk about race. Its time for us to heal race issues in this country. Joyce has a facebook presence and she brings up race boldly. Joyce is comfortable talking about race. She lived in the Cambridge black community for years. So, Joyce talks about race and she is comfortable calling people out on their racism. Joyce thinks its part of her responsibility to be part of our national racial discussion.
