October 29, 2015Lets Talk CFL Episode #42 Preview of Week 19 Lets Talk CFL Episode #42 Preview of Week 19. Panelists Kelly Bale, Mike Townsend, Charles Cliff & Christopher Jones will discuss the upcoming games in Week 19 of the 2015 CFL Season & lay out our weekly predictions. It's coming down to the wire. I do not remember when so much was still undecided this late in the season. The only team that has not qualified for the post season is the Saskatchewan Roughriders. They will miss the playoffs. Everything else is up in the air. Edmonton & Calgary are fighting for 1st over all in the Western Division. Any win by Edmonton, or loss by Calgary, & the Eskimos take top spot. Calgary is guaranteed at least 2nd place. In 3rd place in the West we have B.C. in position currently but tied with Montreal who is looking to cross over. Montreal must be leading outright to crossover. Then Winnipeg is one game back but holding the season series with B.C. so a tie works. In the East division, Montreal has been eliminated from the playoff picture & Toronto can finish no better than 2nd. Hamilton or Ottawa both have the ability to finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. A lot is on the line. Everything is up for grabs. Join us on the CFL's best live show on Blogtalkradio or on repeat with iTunes, the tunein radio app, or the Stitcher app....more1h 60minPlay

October 22, 2015Lets Talk CFL Episode #40 Week 18 Preview Lets Talk CFL Episode #40 Previewing Week 18. Thats right Week 18, only 3 weeks left of the regular season. The Panel - Kelly Bale, Charles Cliff, Mike Townsend, and Christopher Jones will Preview the upcoming games of Week 18 of the 2015 CFL Season. We will also be declaring our predictions complete with confidence levels. What is on the line this week... Edmonton & Calgary have equal records heading down the stretch. Edmonton owns the season series, so Calgary must finish higher than the Eskimos to finish First in the Division. Mean while in the East there is a larger traffic jam with Hamilton currently with 10 victories and both Toronto & Ottawa sitting with 9 each. But here is where it gets tricky; The Argos own the Season series over the RedBlacks but Hamilton owns it over the Argos. Both done in 3 game sweeps. BUT Hamilton has yet to play Ottawa this year and that will have to wait until the last 2 weeks of the season. Funny thing is each of these 3 play one of the 3 that are fighting for the final playoff position, 3rd place in the West. BC with 3 games remaining has lost the season series to Winnipeg who currently only have 2 games left. Also in this hunt is Montreal and they are fight for a cross over position. So if the season ended to day Winnipeg would be in the playoffs. Montreal must have a full game lead over the two Western teams for the Crossover to be enacted. BC must also have one victory more than the Bombers to make the playoffs due to the Season series is in the Bombers favour. If this was not enough there is one addition item to be watching. Edmonton has the final bye in week 20 and if they end up First in the West then they literally have 3 weeks before a playoff game. Is that too much time to sit, without play at real game speed? Is it better for the Eskimos to finish in second place? All this an more will be answered on the next Lets Talk CFL Podcast.
