Often when we think about Jonah, we only

focus on the first portion of his story, and for

good reason. Who could ever forget about the storm, the

great fish, and the prophet being vomited back

onto the shore? However, we would also be wise to consider the

second part of the story. We will examine in greater detail what

happened once Jonah arrived in Nineveh, the

place he was trying to avoid, which led him into

the belly of the whale.
