Children in a marriage can be fun, until they grow up and start asking you for things. Some things can be material, but here lately our son has been asking for a girlfriend. Mom and Dad I want this or that, but most importantly I would like to date. Our son, "whose 10 years old by the way",  continues to ask if he could start dating. As a parent at what age do you allow your children to date, or have the opposite sex friends to hang out with? And if you don't allow the children to be free or date what are your fears?

Does an ex have all the rights to the children after a relationship has ended? I mean the courts almost always choose the mother over the father to raise the child even in a divorce. In recent videos we see men are trying to be good parents but some women are not allowing them. What is this and how can we stop this cycle of toxic behavior from not only the women, but men too? Do we not see that the children are watching? Do we care, or are we focused more focused on our own selfish ambition?

This Sunday will be special. Not only is it father's day, but it's "sperm daddy donor day" as well - well that's what most women have been calling it every year. They are both the mother and the father they say. My husband and I have always asked the question, if the father is just a "sperm donor what does that make the mother"?  We know everyone's story is different, but we are tired of hearing: I am the father and mother when you can't be both. Once their marriage ended it was like our friendship ended with them, and not because they didn't want to be friends, but because there were a lot of moving parts that we couldn't associate with. My husband made the decision to protect us and removed us from a situation that could have pulled us in deeper than we needed to be. Thank God for that decision because we could have ended up dead or in jail. Phew, what a bullet we dodged "literally". But what happened and why do people allow other women or men into their bedroom?
