Let's Talk MMA

Francis Ngannou is rumored to be done with his UFC contract on January 20th, 2023, which means he very well could sign with a different organization. He has shown interest in boxing Tyson Fury and has hinted at signing with the rival mma organization the PFL. Do we think Francis will leave the UFC?

Kelvin Gastelum is out of his fight against Nassourdine Imavov, which was supposed to take place at UFC Fight Night on January 14. Sean Strickland has stepped in to fight Nassourdine Imavov on short notice at 205 lbs.

In this video I go over each and every current UFC Champion and outline which of these will still be holding their belt by the end of 2023.

It's Ariel Helwani's world and we are all just living in it.

In this podcast I talk about Jake Paul signing his first MMA contract with the PFL. This is the worst week in the life of Dana White...

Alexander Volkanovski was the Cyclone MMA UFC fighter of year, he's the #1 pound for pound UFC fighter, and is already one of (if not THE) greatest featherweights of all time, yet no one thinks he will beat Islam Makhachev. Is Alexander Volkanovski being slept on?

Dana White is in the headlines for an altercation he had with his wife in Mexico on New Years Eve. A tmz video shows Dana White slapping his wife after receiving a blow himself. He spoke on the subject and explains that it has never happened before and was an embarrassing event.

With Paulo Costa out of his bout against Robert Whittaker I feel as though Alex Pereira vs Robert Whittaker should be made more February 11th at UFC 284. This will allow Israel Adesanya more time to heal and train for his title fight return and it gives Robert Whittaker a chance to regain UFC Gold. I think this fight is a more fun stylistic matchup for Alex Pereira and makes the middleweight a bit more interesting. What do you guys think about this crazy idea?

Geoff Neal is out of his fight against Shavkat Rakhmonov, which was scheduled for January 14, 2023 at UFC Fight Night 217. Bryan Barberena has volunteered for the assignment, but I recommend the UFC book a different fighter... I want Khamzat Chimaev vs Shavkat Rakhmonov to fight at the catchweight of 180. What do you guys think?

Dillon Danis recently made an appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani and they had quite the spicy interview. They talk about their history, Dillon Danis vs KSI, and the current state of Dillon Danis. Enjoy!
