Even though change comes slowly, it is important to realize the progress we've made. Just as John's generation has advanced our cause in ways that those who came before him never thought was possible, the next generation will do the same. There is a lot more left to do but we have come a long way.

With Indigenous People's Day (formerly known as Columbus Day) fast approaching, Paul Winnie joins the show to talk to John about a rally against development on ancestral Seneca land. John also covers this year's upcoming Indigenous People's Day in the wake of the murder of George Floyd and the protests and uprisings that ensued after. Some of those protests resulted in the toppling of several Columbus statues across the United States.

With all the hysteria and doom surrounding the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsberg are we forgetting or just ignoring some of her more overtly racist rulings and comments? Conservatives are celebrating another opportunity to stack the Supreme Court while liberals are mourning the loss of this so-called 'feminist icon' but what about the Native perspective on RBG? John discusses all of this and more in this episode of "Let's Talk Native."

Don't say America deserves better. Instead, look at its history because it appears to have achieved exactly what it has always wanted. The system isn't designed to be fair or equitable because it's rigged. The system didn't fail... it did exactly what it was designed to do.
