In this episode of the Let's Talk Nerdy Podcast Adam & Dave breakdown Marvel's announced video games (EA Black Panther, EA Iron Man, Captain America & Black Panther, Wolverine), Deadpool 3, Armored Core 6, and Under the Waves!
Marvel has a lot of games in the works and can be huge for the fans. EA's Iron Man has no release date but seems to be coming out in 2025. EA's Black Panther is also a game with little to no information, but rumor has it that it will be an open world game that takes place in Wakanda. On the other hand, the unnamed Captain America & Black Panther buy SkyDance studios will be a more linear game with the ability to play a total of four characters, the Black Panther, Captain America, Gabe Jones (Howling Commando), and a Wakandan spy. The last Marvel game is Wolverine, which is also going to be a linear game with some exploration elements.
Deadpool 3 has to be one of the most anticipated comic movies in recent time. Fans are excited to see Hugh Jackman return as the iconic Wolverine in his blue and yellow iconic suit. The movie is slated to be released May of 2024 and other cameos are rumored such as Channing Tatum as Gambit, Knight Crawler and many more!
Armored Core 6 is coming out in August which has Armored Core fans excited to have a soft reboot of the series. From Software is more well known for their Souls like games but this different and exciting to see them bringing it back!
Under The Waves a smaller game with a big feel in terms of overall atmosphere and design of the game. You will play as Stan, who runs an underwater observatory for almost 3 years. The isolation plays a huge component on the story and will have some psyche elements.
