Re Ribbon Week is a long standing prevention event that we take part in every year as a way to remind kids to stay away from drugs and alcohol. It was amazing to see how much this prevention advocate learned about Red Ribbon week's history. Then to find out that a close personal friend of mine and long standing prevention advocate was one of the first youth to sign the drug free pledge.

This advocate and Red Ribbon pioneer will give you amazing insight into the beginnings of this program and how all prevention programs have taken us to the point we are today!

Dr. Ken Finn is a Pain Management Doctor from Colorado and he has much different thoughts on Marijuana as a pain management tool and how it has helped grow the nations dependence on hard harmful drugs.

He points out how drug abuse has increased in Colorado and not decreased.

Dr. Ken Finn also points out the extreme lack of clear labeling of products that contain THC in them.

On top of that he points out how States with legal Recreational Marijuana have actually very little oversight. 

This episode we talk to one of the people that have been affected by Marijuana use and its harmful effects on the brain. This invention of "Crack Weed" has brought a whole new level of harm on our communities and the hope is more evidence that modern Marijuana is not safe.
