The adventures of Tintin, created be the Belgian cartoonist Hergé, are classics in the world of comics as well as in the children and youth literature. Hergé’s hero Tintin, a Belgian reporter, travels across the world, where he always seems to be involved in dangerous adventure stories…stories which fascinate young and old. However, the comics can be polarizing, as some of them have a strong racist and xenophobic undertone. This podcast deals with the question if it is ok to read the comics or if they should be forbidden. If you are interested in how to deal with issues like that, than you are welcomed to tune in. If you want to learn something about how the Tintin-comics could be used today than also tune in. It won’t be in vain.
