During the Easter holiday, we started pondering about other religious holidays, appropriation of cultures and their holidays, and wanted to dive into a sesh about it all.

What would we do if we were required to shut down for EVERY Religion’s holidays
If you don't take the spiritual or practical significance of holidays into account, Hindus and Roman Catholics are tied for the most, because pretty much every day of the year has some special significance in the religious calendar of each.

Why do Christians poo poo “Sacrilegious things” that they themselves appropriated and then condemned the actual root source
It’s cultural appropriation–members of a dominant culture, like the U.S., systematically oppress minority groups but also take elements from their cultures and adopt them as their own (ex. Eostre is the pagan fertility goddess of humans and crops. The traditional colors of the festival are green, yellow and purple.
