Welcome to our week 3 preview of the Seahawks home contest against the Carolina Panthers. While not a true rivalry game, in the Panthers, the Hawks have a very familiar foe, having faced off against Carolina 15 times since they joined the league as an expansion team in 1995. Seattle owns an 11-6 win/loss record in those contests, including playoffs. Also of note is the Quarterback who will lead the Carolina offense, Andy Dalton. A prospect once coveted by this head coach and front office, though they ultimately chose to pass on the “Red Rifle” in favor of a now forgettable offensive lineman. Dalton holds a 3-1 record against the Hawks, his latest win being Seattle’s week 5 loss to the Saints last year. Seattle hasn’t faired well in recent years when facing backup QBs; everyone remembers the wildcard playoff loss to the John Walford-led Rams in 2021. In this episode, we will touch on those points and break down what we think the Seahawks' path to victory may look like coming off an upset victory over the Lions last week.
Long time friends and at one time related, Adam and Robert’s bond runs deep. They connected over the Seahawks and their passion for Pacific Northwest sports. Living in different geographic areas, catching games together was a thing of the past. Their communication mainly consisted of lengthy phone calls, email threads, and text conversations about all things Seahawks. One day, the question was asked, “want to make a podcast?” Thus, Let’s Talk Seahawks was born. In year two, the hosts have taken to the internet and begun live streaming. Join Adam & Robert through the highs and lows of each NFL season. Let’s Talk Seahawks, a place for fans to gather and cheer on the Seahawks.
