This episode is the result of my research studies for obtaining my Master's degree in Trauma Psychology. My work is extensively in Military, Front Line First Responders and Survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, childhood abuse and sexual trauma. There are places where all of these individuals intersect. As we review the currently available courses on public education there are some parts of the puzzle missing. This episode reflects on a few of those additional pieces for consideration. Understanding what your friend, neighbor or even significant other is actually going through is a first step to understanding how to actually be supportive to their healing journey.
