  Dorian Leon Wilson is an American actor known for his role as Professor Stanley Oglevee on the UPN sitcom The Parkers, the spin-off series of Moesha, which first ran from 1999 to 2004, and for his recurring role as Terrence Winningham on the sitcom Sister, Sister from 1994 to 1996. He currently plays as Jay Weaver on the Bounce TV comedy sitcom In the Cut.

  His music career started in 1992, with the release of Norman Hutchins by Sparrow Records, and they would also release 1993's, Don't Stop Praying. Yet, these both failed to chart and were the only two releases with the label. He caught success, when he joined JDI Records in 1999, and they released his third album, Nobody But You, and this was his Billboard magazine chart debut release on the Gospel Albums chart. He subsequent albums with the label, saw success on that same chart, and those were, Battlefield in 1999, Emmanuel in 2001; however, one album failed to chart, Battlefield: The Sermon released in 2002.He would then sign to IR Records, for the releases of Spontaneous Praise, Vol. 1 in 2008, 2009's God Is Faithful, If You Didn't Know...Now You Know in 2011, and 2013's Hosanna, which all of them charted on the Gospel Albums chart. He has received eight Dove Award nominations and eight Stellar Award nominations, along with Grammy Awards nominations.

Terry is a graduate at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington. He landed backing vocalist jobs for the freestyle/pop group Sweet Sensation, and hip-hop group The Boogie Boys. In 1987, he signed a recording contract with Epic/CBS Records. Terry's first single, "She's Fly", was released the same year, and peaked at number 10 on the Billboard R&B singles chart. Forever Yours, Terry's debut album for Epic, was released in 1988, and reached the Top 40 of Billboard's R&B albums chart. The follow-up single, "Lovey Dovey", reached number four on the R&B charts, and "Forever Yours" climbed into the R&B Top 20.In 1989, Tony was also featured in a duet with label mate Flame on the song "On The Strength", which reached number 59 on the Billboard R&B singles chart and number 11 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart.

Often times we are programed to notice the results of an individuals success, without seeing the work they have contributed. Why do we have haters, and jealous folks ? Is this taught?
