Biblically, we have been commanded to obey, honour and respect our parents, but sometimes it seems some parents use this has a power tool. Culturally, we need to draw the line and identify that there’s a difference between respecting and obeying our parents. Respecting our parents shouldn’t give room to being scared to talk to our parents neither should obeying them turn us into robots or slaves.
