December 06, 2023S02E02 with Leslie Maloney on trusting your life, not overthinking, moxiness and more...Lauren and Leslie talk about the idea of trusting your life and not overthink things too much. She shares that in her initial process of writing her first book, she followed what "pops up and it feels good, then I'll chase it." Leslie shares that she's launching a new podcast in January called, Meaning and Moxie Over 50. I asked her what "moxie" means and here's what she had to say - "To me or in general, moxie means gritty, sassy, spicy courage. It's somebody who is bold and goes for things and isn't afraid to fail. it's kind of all that, all that wrapped up in there. It's always been a very favorite word of mine. In 2017, my mom passed and I said the eulogy for her. How do you sum somebody up in 15, 20 minutes? One of the words I used in her eulogy was moxie. At the very end, I said, may we all carry on her moxiness." So when I was thinking about a title for my podcast, boom, it came right. I mean, it was just the tip of the hat to her and just was right there. There was no question in my mind. Like, okay, yeah, this is the title."It was a great conversation covering so many topics. I invite you to listen, share and let us know what you think in our comments! Check us out on IG https://www.instagram.com/stories/pearl.concierge.services/3199191970085468283/?hl=en...more31minPlay
