Man it feels real good to be back in action behind the mic talking basketball with Eli and Olisa two great minds who are committed to bringing up hot takes and topics in the basketball world. 

We had the opportunity to compare players, talk theory, and what we thing the second half of the season will play out. Enjoy, remember to comment, like and subscribe.

1. Should John Mara and the New York Giants bring back Joe Judge next year? Throughout Joe Judge tenure as head coach of the Giants he has gone 10-23 with little to show for offensively, ranking dead last in points, yards, and red zone efficiency. The New York Giants are a hot mess from the top down and maybe a change of leadership will sit well for the team that has invested in so many weapons with nothing to show for it. 

2. Can the Brooklyn Nets win a championship this year with Kyrie Irving only being able to play away games? My take...Not a chance, the Nets already aren't the best home team with a record of 10-10. They also tend to play down to the competition. Something that can be fixed but it is still worrisome. Kyrie playing in all games helps out everyone top to bottom for the Nets including Steve Nash who is a questionable coach in my opinion. The method to beating the Nets is play tough defense and get physical with KD. Force turnovers and tough shots. Kyrie makes everything easier and for the Nets to make a run he needs to be there for every game.

3. The Knicks are 6-4 in their last ten games and they look like they are building chemistry, are they set for a big turnaround on the season? I believe so, boys are playing more aggressive, for each other, and there playing consistent defense. this formula will only lead to W in the win column. This is just the beginning and Julius Randle is starting to see the floor much better. Let's go Knicks. 

Our first Knicks take of the season about 25 games in and we have some disgruntle fans worried about the outlook of our beloved Knicks. I am here to tell you don't worry. Yes we need to see more consistency on defense and start games hot! but it is early and Thibs is trying to find the correct rotations out on the court while battling some tough teams on this stretch. Don't loose the faith as BING BONG is still alive in the City.   

What I am seeing is this  

1. The Knicks are coming out with no effort or chemistry. 

2. The defense is not consistent. 

3. RJ Barrett has to be featured early.

Hot take- The Dallas cowboys have the best chance to make it to the Super Bowl in the NFC

The Dallas cowboys are making a run at the Lombardi Trophy ranking in the top 5 in offense and the top 10 in defesnse. There is no question they are contenders, but with the 20th easiest schedule moving forward do the boys have what it takes to win the tough matchups in the playoffs? 

With health always a question for the Cowboys making sure the team stays healthy and ready during the playoffs run is imperative. I still believe the likes of Green Bay and the high flying offense of the Cardinals still have the better odds to make it farther than the Cowboys but there is still plenty of football to be played. 

Its one thing for sure Americas Team has the country screaming "HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS"

Hot take- The Lakers and Nets don't make it out of the 2nd round of the NBA playoffs.

I was at first writing this take off as nonsense! but then I thought to myself the Nets aren't deep and they lack size in my opinion. When the playoffs start teams get tougher and the grind gets harder so I understand why Eli believes the Nets get ousted early. 

On the other hand the LAKERS this take is straight nonsense and the take about health or Russ in my opinion isn't valid. The man is a playmaker and the Lakers are deep. They rank in the top ten in points, FG %, and assist. These guys will be just fine and I see them in the Conference Finals. 

LetsTalkSports is back for the upcoming NFL season! with episodes dropping every week as the NFL season story line gets hot we will cover all the Hot Takes. This episode I give you my division winners that'll eventually head into the playoffs and make some noise. It was an eventful summer with numerous moves made by teams, disgruntled stars, and plenty top draft picks showcasing why they should be in the league. We are finally here, first game is Thursday September 9th and I cant wait! Make sure your fantasy team is all set IT IS TIME TO LOCK IN. 

THE HIATUS IS OVER

Its been difficult to get some motivation to chat about the series I witnessed from My Knicks so just let me vent I have a few things to get off my chest!! Overall the year has been a success, able to turn around management, the emergence of Randle and RJ, quality play from our role players, and the first playoff appearance in eight years #WEHERE. 🔸🔹
