i recently heard that as humans, we often mistake joy and excitement for the anxiousness inside of us. i am trying to achieve that in this letter by narrating my current entangled thoughts as fall approaches. it's hard to still be a dreamer and a hopeless romantic in this day and age. but i can't help it. no matter what, no matter how sad i get, how disappointed, how misjudged, how pushed around at times, and how many times i face rejection, i still wholeheartedly believe that it will be a day when i will finally meet my person in a bookstore.
