with apologies for the long absence, this episode speaks of a wayward utopia i have been dreaming about since i was 13. inspired by the book Wayward Lives, Beautiful Experiments by Saidyia Hartman, i wrote a poem that somewhat speaks to my emotions. have you ever thought about packing it all, leaving for a cabin in the middle of the woods and becoming the mysterious person no one dares to talk to? is that the right answer? to run away?

believe it or not, there will come a time when feeling happy will look scary. believe it or not, your brain sometimes is not your best friend. believe it or not, i sometimes miss the sadness yet choose to look the other way.

they say the distance between love and hate is as thin as one strand of hair. in my opinion, the distance between anger and sadness is as thin. in this letter, i will attempt to draw a line between all my anger that is making me rather sad and distant. do you ever feel sad enough to willingly distance yourself from everything and everyone?

there are many moments when i question my own heart as one should. your heart is so full of extra feelings, that could send you mixed signals. on those days, i write it all out, redefine key terms for myself and recall what are some things that bring me absolute joy. in this letter, we will embark on the journey that i'd like to call, little happy reminders
