Letters that were written during December of 1942. Gee Gee switches squadrons and receives several packages that help him stay connected with home. 

In letters written during November 1942, Gee Gee leaves Illinois on a train headed for Boca Raton, Florida. He's also wishing he was home for Thanksgiving.

Gee Gee gets pictures taken, learns of his graduation date, and tells a joke to his sister.

Letters Home from September 1942. Gee Gee talks more to Daughter and gets updated on his rod and reel.

Gee Gee updates his family on his schooling and seems to be enjoying class so far.

He also goes to church and gives his brother John a hard time.

Gee Gee has a few shifts of K.P. duty, gets a partial paycheck, and leaves Jefferson Barracks.

Gee Gee starts receiving a lot of mail while waiting to ship out. 

During episode #2 of "Letters Home," Gee Gee is eager to receive his classification. He receives his first letters back and also sends home two postcards.
