Whoooo! This podcast was recorded a month after I finished up my first year of teaching. I hope this helps a teacher who is about to start their first year as well as teachers s who have already started their first year and may be drowning a little bit. Even though, I am sharing what I learned, I truly believe that experience is the best teacher. Listen and give yourself grace <3
Love you guys!
In honor of Mother’s Day earlier this month, I wanted to publish an episode sharing the process God has been taking me through exposing the fears, beliefs, and struggles I have had around motherhood. As a woman, a daughter, a granddaughter, and an aunt, I have benefited from so many women before me walking the path of being called “Mom”. Though I loved the women in my life who were mothers, a million questions filled my heart about becoming someone who’s called "Mom" too.
How hard will this be? Will it be more hard than good? Is it worth it? Will I lose myself? Are my dreams over when I have a child? Will having kids change my marriage? Is my life over?
I pray this episode frees you and blesses you if you’ve had any of the same musings. I can say that the Lord has been the most precious friend and has led me into this conversation with such gentleness and beauty as we unraveled all the answers he had for me. Just like a stroll in the park, surrounded by warm air, as a gentle breeze He has answered me. <3
