While at church the other weekend, our pastor preached on how working is biblical and how we must flee from being lazy.

I felt really convicted because at times I do just want to be lazy but what a privilege it is to be tired from the work the Lord gave us.

Finding your confidence in Christ means realizing f that you are THAT girl, His girl. And there is no greater feeling that knowing that the God of the universe loves you.

It’s really easy to get caught up in doing everything “for church,” because we think ultimately it’s for the Lord. But what happens when you sign up for everything but end up feeling even more overwhelmed in the end? Isn’t serving the church suppose to be fulfilling?

Do you ever wonder if when people look at you, they truly see Jesus? And sometimes it’s hard to comprehend because we are not perfect and we will never be Jesus. But are we representing him well? Are we making Jesus appealing enough for others to want to follow Him?

As my children get older, I feel that navigating things become more difficult.

You become so numb to the secular world that when you start to hear or see things from your child’s eyes, you become hyper aware of how much of an influence the world has on them but also, how much of an influence YOU have on them.

Take a listen as I navigate a season of life I have no idea how to deal with.

When the Lord takes away friendships you wanted so badly, it tends to hurt. You don’t understand the why or the how you’re going to recover but trusting in the Lord that He knows what He’s doing is what I am learning to do.

We’re back! And back for good I hope? Honestly, we’ll see. 😅

I just completed my first year in the mom’s ministry group at my church and I am beyond grateful that the Lord finally opened up the doors for me to be able to serve in this way.

If it’s one thing I’ve learn while struggling with anxiety is that God was always there. And He was always giving me the answers but I never listened.
