Happy Tuesday, Ya'll!

Caitlin Ball - I will never forget finding out a Carolina soccer player (hello, winningest NCAA program in the history of ALL mens and women's sports) would be in my bible study senior year. What I didnt know was how much her friendship and wisdom would open up doors of freedom and healing in my own life. Caitlin and I talk about her FIVE concussions, how being valedictorian of her high school was a barrier to believing in God, how she tried to reconcile homosexuality and Christianity, and what her life is like now as a staff member of a multi-cultural ministry. Of all of the episodes I have recorded with my friends thus far, this one stands out as far as how present the Spirit was, and how much Cait was preaching to ME (you'll hear me express this several times :))

Switching up the game for today's episode, and I am really excited about it. If you've paid much attention for the past several months, I haven't shared a ton about both our journey to become pregnant and what its actually been like pregnant. Over the past month, I've felt pretty convicted to share, so here is my honest and raw story! In this episode, I sat down and talked about whether or not I wanted to be a mama, how long it took to conceive, and what that waiting was like, how each trimester has been, and the carseat we found on the side of the road :) Like every episode, I am praying this lets some light in to your day, even if you aren't pregnant or anywhere close to that.

Kate Stickler - aside from my husband, no one has had a more profound spiritual impact on my life. I can recall several instances throughout college where time with Kate remedied all. You might know her as the precious face and voice behind Naptime Kitchen, (if you aren't following her on insta, DO IT!). We met over 7 years ago, but didnt grow close until she graduated from Carolina and started discipling me. In this episode, we talk about balancing momming and cooking, how her husband, Nate, does the simple things, where her love of cooking originated, and her upcoming move from Durham, NC to Charleston, SC. I cannot ever get enough of Kate, and I am so darn thrilled to share her with ya'll.

I am so thrilled to introduce ya'll to my new friend, Katie Bulmer. We stumbled across each other on social media, and I was intrigued by her platform centered around the Greek System in college. Having found Christ through the Greek System, I'm always interested in people's experiences. In this episode, Katie is extremely transparent in talking about her redemption after brokenness in relationship, how her husband's chivalry painted a beautiful picture of Christ's love, the bond that her daughters share, and of course, her book, "Sorority Girls Can Change the World." Shelton Current - affectionately referred to as "Shelton" or "Tron" - is one of those friends that you are immediately yourself with. I believe it's a combination of her humility, realness, humor, and just how flat out fun she is. We met on a Spring Break mission trip at Carolina, and have been best friends since. In this episode, we talk about planning her upcoming wedding, the all-star she is marrying, how they want to build their family, her decision to walk away from her ministry job and that required a complete change of city and occupation, and good books, of course! I adore everything about this friend, and I know you'll get a few laughs from listening :)

I could talk to Tara for DAYS, clearly evidenced by the fact that we talked for an hour and a half before I even pressed record. She is an incredible mama, wife, and friend. She leads and spurs on women in her community so well, It was a joy to get to talk to her about her marriage, 5 kids, adoption, and her extremely convincing argument towards any unbeliever of the TV show, "This is Us."
