Level Change Podcast

The Aki Basho wrapped up last week and it was a terrific tourney. We got some shakeups and some returns to form that we’ve been waiting for (looking at you Onosato). Some of our favorites had a great tournament, and some struggled to stay in the win column. We have our good friend, Tim Edwards of Sumo Stomp joining us for all the analysis, updates, and big storylines. Tim takes us through all the best moments of the tournament, including critiques of the leaders’ performances, how the other wrestlers fared, and even gave us some advice on up-and-comers we should pay attention to, and who he thinks might win the next basho.

Thanks for listening to the Level Change Podcast! Please share this post to help us spread the word for our latest episode.

Tim has his new and improved storefront up and running where paid subscribers get a discount, and it’s finally able to handle USA-based customers now. There’s even a nifty contest for a really cool shirt (photo above). He also has a Youtube channel, so do check him out there, as well:

We're breaking down another terrible UFC card, but first, we discuss movies and TV.

The UFC has some solid prospect bouts in the Apex this week, all mixed up in the same bowl as some stinkers. But at least the quality bouts outweigh the bad ones. Featherweight ranks will be sorted out in the main event while other talents look to stand out from the pack in this one.

But that’s not all! MVP MMA is on Netflix with Rousey vs Carano, Nate Diaz vs Mike Perry, and Francis Ngannou vs Philippe Lins. Salahdine Parnasse will also be shining on this card as the MVP MMA maiden voyage takes off from Inglewood, CA.
