Transformation is in the yes right? But what about the yes that means a no? I have lived both sides of this - saying YES to everything and making success happen for me. And I now get to live the side of saying YES in surrender which means allowing there to be no's that maybe are hard or scary. Today we are going to dive into the YES you need to truly transform and get to a place of living in a place of surrender and service instead of ego.
Your life will go only so far as YOU allow it to - and the biggest thing holding you back is your self imposed "rules" for yourself and others in your life. The truth is that everyone has an unwritten "rulebook" that they are following and expecting everyone else to follow in their life. It bothers us when we see others NOT abiding by our rules when in reality, we are the ones imposing them on ourselves. Listen in to this episode to find out what yours are and why you will stay stuck until you can replace them.

Dr. Sarah Mitchell was a successful chiropractor who's life was turned upside down when she became a mother. Struggling with post partum, a baby that would NOT sleep and feeling like she lost herself, she turned her problem INTO her purpose! Today she is a sleep consultant helping parents get their babies, toddlers and kids to sleep well even through the transitions of life. But her story of rock bottom leading to her new passion is one you will be glad you heard and may provide you with a new perspective on your hard right now.
When we are in the middle of a crisis, we tend to forget anything else and we only see the hard. We can't see the forest for the trees. But in reality, you have been through hard things before AND they have produced good things for you. The miracles always happen IN the river - in the hard.
Today, I'm going to teach you a little exercise that will allow you to gain a better perspective and see the tools/lessons that you have that you might not even be aware of. Don't forget to do this activity and tag me in your stories - I'd love to cheer you on!
Recently I had a couple of complaints made about my podcast referring to the variety of topics I have covered on here - all the way from fitness and health to addiction, recovery, coaching and Instagram help. When I read those, they were the biggest compliment that I could have ever received. Why? Because as a human you are NOT one thing. You have experiences, passions and abilities far beyond the one thing you currently might offer in your business. AND when you can use those things in your current business, you create magic. Stop trying to fit into the box, babe. I'm gonna show you how today.
Today's special guest is a multiple 6 figure network marketing queen, a fellow podcaster, a master at leadership and my good friend, Jen Szpigiel! Listen in as she shares her story of growing up bullied, going through her own rock bottom and creating the business and life of her dreams. This mama of 4 is inspirational and ICONIC and she wants to help you become an Icon in your own right! Check out her podcast - Becoming Iconic and on instagram at @jenszpigiel.
When the time comes to pivot in your relationship, your business or your life, it's easy to think that we should see positive momentum forward with the first couple actions right?
I know I thought that years ago when we were in our recovery story. It was super frustrating and hard to feel like we were constantly taking one step forward, 2 steps back ALL THE TIME and getting nowhere. That's when this metaphor came into play about turning the boat around....and hitting wake.
Babe, if you are in the 2 steps forward, 1 step back phase, it does not mean you are off track. Any pivot will leave us hitting wake for a while. That's what we are gonna talk about today - I get REAL and share my "hitting wake" moments in my biz in the last 4 months and WHY it's worth it to keep going.
Peter joins me on the show today to talk coping mechanisms! What are they, how are they formed and how are they showing up in your life right now? Whether you know it or not, you have coping mechanisms and they are most likely self-sabotaging you. They showed up in our marriage in a big way a few years ago when we hit our rock bottom. Learning to identify yours (and being able to talk about it with your significant other) is the first step to leveling up how you are showing up today.
