In this sermon on generosity, Pastor Larry walks through the Parable of the Shrewd Manager in Luke 16, drawing out three key principles about what it means to be a faithful steward of what God has entrusted to us. He begins by establishing that God is the true owner of everything, including our lives, possessions, time, gifts, and even the gospel itself. Because God is the owner, we are simply managers who are accountable for how we handle what He has placed in our care. Just as the master in the parable held his manager accountable, God has expectations for each of us to use what He has given us to advance His kingdom.
