Highlighing the importance of the Lord's Supper through a focus on the ministry of Christ through his humiliation then his exaltation

The gospel is not just Jesus died. It is also that He was raised and that He is alive! Any gospel that does not contain the resurrection is an incomplete gospel.

The good news of the gospel is not just that Jesus died, it is that He died in the place of sinners.

The Lord has called all Christians to go and make disciples. As we go, we are promised that we will experience suffering and persecution for His name.

We are called by God to to raise our children in the way they should go. Handing them over to Caesar will intrinsically and aggressively counter that effort.

Does God ever regret His actions? if so, is it the same as our regret?

Today we engage with just a small portion of this chapter as we ask and answer the question, "Why does God command the annihilation of the Amalekites?"

In Mark 4:35-41, we are confronted with Jesus' divine authority, reserved only for God. He displays His might over creation simply by speaking and He confronts each of us to answer the question asked by the disciples: "Who is this man?" Believe and be saved from God's wrath.

1 John 1:7 tells us that those of us who have been transferred from darkness to light by the blood of Christ, we must walk in the light and obey God's word, by being honest and accountable to other Christians.
