Levon Kirkland highlights his NFL Career and life since being a professional athlete. On this episode of the Beyond the Helmet we are joined by former pro bowler and linebacker, Levon Kirkland .

Levon is best known for his time as an inside linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers. From 1992-2000 he patrolled the middle of the field earning multiple trips to the pro bowl. At 6’1” and 275+ pounds at times, he devastated running backs as part of the Steel Curtain. He finished his career after playing middle linebacker for 2 more seasons after leaving the Steelers (Seattle and Phily).

Kirkland is now working with the South Carolina Hall of Fame to connect with younger athletes. From spreading positive messages to helping athletes be successful off the field after the game, Levon is leading a purpose driven life. We talked about his playing days, what he’s doing now and much more.
