Alex Biggs is the Managing Director at Critical Resources (ASX:CRR)
CRR are a Mining Exploration company with 2 flagship projects:
– Halls Peak Base Metals project near Armidale, Australia.
– Mavis Lake Lithium project in Ontario, Canada.
This is a fantastic yarn about Alex himself and the journey that has taken him to the heights of MD after being “not destined for much” as he put it. You’ll hear about his battle with a brain tumor in 2009 and how this has shaped the MD he is today. There is also plenty in the back half of this yarn about the exciting Halls Peak and Mavis Lake exploration projects.
Jarrad Lyster is a Jumbo Operator that invented Shake Down Mats. These mats have become the norm for all Jumbo’s, reducing vibration by 21% and providing a comfortable platform for the jumbo gods to stand on. Jarrad’s biggest mistake is that he made the Mats too good, as they last forever (very bad for repeat business).
Jarrad has now expanded his business into Salus Engineering, where he will provide more solutions to the Mining Industry.
Check out the links below if you want to get in contact with Jarrad about Shake Down Mats or his upcoming products.

– Which bolts are good in which ground
– Using the correct bit size for different bolts and lengths
– Does an MDX bolt perform as well as a Resin bolt?
