In this podcast, I talked about how it is important to remember the Lewis and Clark Expedition from both point of views. Yes, the Lewis and Clark Expedition helped expand American Fur Trade and made America one of the more dominant countries in the Fur Trade, it also helped find and collect data for hundreds of plants and animals out west, which led to Americans being more comfortable to move and settle out West. But, even though it had all these good outcomes for American Settlers it had only bad outcomes for Native Americans. Americans spread diseases causing whole tribes to die out.

Americans spread diseases causing whole tribes to die out, they also slowly took over Native American land and forced them to stop their traditional village lifestyle, and in the 1950's after US Marine Corps of Engineers built the Garrison Dam the Native American community of Elbow Woods drowned.
Sweaters, Halloween, and Thanksgiving it doesn't get any better!
