للإدمان معانٍ كثيرة، ويظهر في سلوكيات وأشكال مختلفة. قد يكون إدمانًا على المخدرات، أو إدمانًا على الأجهزة الإلكترونية، أو على الإباحيات أو غيرها.قيل عن الإدمان أنه المرض الأكثر شيوعًا في عصرنا هذا. والأكيد أن له جذورًا نفسية عميقة تحتاج إلى الفهم.
ضيفي في هذه الحلقة الدكتور عماد رشاد عثمان، طبيب وكاتب في مجال الصحة النفسية، يحكي لنا عن الإدمان، أسبابه والمفاهيم المغلوطة فيه، وشكل التعافي منه.
يقول عماد إن وراء كل مدمن حكاية تسبّبت بإدمانه، وإذا لم يستطِع روايتها لأحد، فإنه يكرّر سلوكه الإدماني. فالإدمان عملية تكرار لحكاية لم تُسمع، فكيف يعرف المدمن حكايته؟ وإذا كانت سلوكيّات الإدمان كثيرة، كيف يعرف الإنسان أنه مدمن؟عادةً ما تكون أول علاقة يرتبط بها الإنسان هي علاقته بوالديه، إلا أنهما قد يساهمان، دون إدراك منهما، في دفع طفلهما نحو الإدمان! فكيف يكون الوالدان سببًا في إدمان طفلهما؟وأخيرًا، تحدثنا عن الشكل الصحّي لعمليَّة التعافي من الإدمان.

بدأ رحلته في عِلم منذ تسعة عشر عامًا، وتولَّى فيها مناصب عديدة كان آخرها الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة. فأدار ثقافة، واتخذ قرارات مصيرية، وتعامل مع شتّى أنواع الموظفين، ضيفي في هذه الحلقة عبدالرحمن الجضعي، الرئيس التنفيذي السابق لشركة عِلم.
تمتاز بعض الشركات بثقافة منظومتها، فتكون قيمها واضحة ومتينة أحيانًا، وتتأثّر بعوامل مختلفة وتسوء سمعتها أحيانًا أخرى. يقول الجضعي إذا تجاوز عدد موظّفي الشركة مئتين، فمن غير الممكن التحكّم في ثقافتها، بل من الأسهل أن تُدار منذ بداية تأسيس الشركة.
يُعادي الجضعي البيروقراطية، ويرى أن دخولها في الشركات عائقًا لنموّها وإنتاجها، وقد يجعلها غير مرغوبة للعملاء. فكيف تعامل معها ومع التحديات الأخرى في أثناء إدارته الشركة؟ 
متى يكون المدير جيدًا وداعمًا لموظفيه؟ يقول الجضعي إن المدير الجيّد لا يجعل من الشركة سجنًا، بل يسمح للموظفين باستكشاف فرص عمل أفضل إن وُجدت، بل ويسعى لإيجاد الفرص لهم أيضًا.
كيف يتخذ القرارات الصعبة مثل التوظيف والفصل؟ ومتى يكون الموظف مؤهلًا لأن يكون مديرًا؟ وما فلسفته في استراتيجيات الشركات واستعانتها باستشاريين؟

زاد الحديث عن الصحة النفسية مؤخرًا، وزاد معه اهتمام الناس بها ومحاولاتهم فهم أنفسهم، وفي هذه الحلقة نتحدّث عنها مع الدكتور خالد الجابر، استشاري طب الأسرة والعلاج النفسي، الذي يرى أن النفس أوسع بكثير من أن تُحصر في الاضطرابات فقط، بل إنها منظومة صفات وعلاقات وأخلاق وجوانب دينية وحياتية.
كيف نفهم أنفسنا؟ وهل من الضرورة أن يفهم الإنسان نفسه؟ قد يلجأ البعض إلى طبيب نفسي كي يفهم نفسه، ويستغرق سنوات كثيرة، لكن يعدّ ضيفي هذا تطرّفًا شديدًا. كما يرى أن الإنسان المسلم يقوم بممارسات نفسية كثيرة ناشئة من الدين، مثل الصبر والاحتساب والعزاء، بل تمتد لتؤثر في العلاقات والتعامل مع الأزمات، فالقوة الدينية تمنحه فهمًا لما يحصل، فتصبح الحياة مريحة.
وعن المفاهيم الخاطئة في السعادة، يقول ضيفي إن السعادة الصحيحة سعادة موزونة ومتعدّدة المصادر، مثل أن يكون أحد مصادرها روحيًا وآخر دينيًا وآخر أخلاقيًا، مع قدر مرتبط بجوانب مادية، لكن باعتدال وتعقّل.
كيف تتشكَّل نظرتنا إلى أنفسنا والحياة؟ وكيف نتعامل مع الأذى؟ يقول الجابر إن الكثيرين يعدّون بعض التصرّفات أذًى، رغم أنها طبيعية ولا تعدّ أذًى أصلًا. 
وأخيرًا عن مفهوم الصبر، الذي قد يحل جزءًا كبيرًا من المشكلات لو طبّقه الناس.

يوم الخميس بعد صلاة المغرب في حي الغدير في الرياض، ركبت السيارة وإلى جانبي منتج فنجان أيمن الحمادي، واتجهنا إلى بيت عائض القرني، أبو عبدالله.

بدأنا العمل قبل سنة ونصف على قصة احتيال تبدأ من الإنترنت، لكنها تتسرب بغرابة إلى العالم الواقعي. المحتالون في هذه القصة ليسوا مريبين، بل تراهم يجلسون في المقاهي والمطاعم، ولا يربكك وجودهم، ولا يرفع ضحايا احتيالهم أصواتهم قائلين: «فلوسي راحت وهذول نصبوا عليّ».
صحيح أن المبالغ المسروقة ليست مليونية، لكن الصدمة كانت في نوع الاحتيال نفسه؛ إذ كل أنواع الاحتيال التي سمعنا عنها تجارية أو خدمية، وعلى الرغم من سلبياتها، فنحن الآن أمام نوع جديد ووحش آخر.
