You've just turned 30. You have been committed to your health and fitness for years. Your bloodwork turns up perfect at every draw. You've never even broken a bone.

Your doctor feels a lump on your neck at a routine physical. You get the tests. You have thyroid cancer.

What do you do?

This is my story, and in today's episode I'm going to take you through the entire process of how I discovered I have cancer. What it was like the day they found the lump, what tests I took after that, the anxiety and mental process I went through waiting for results, getting second opinions, learning who to trust, how my family was impacted, and what happens next.

My journey with thyroid cancer has just begun, but I want to use this experience as a way to shine a light on this issue, offer guidance to people who are in a similar position and bring make something positive out of something horrible.
