In a historic bipartisan move, Senate Republicans joined Democrats to pass a war powers resolution, aiming to halt US military action in Venezuela without congressional approval. Several Republicans, including Todd Young, Josh Hawley, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Rand Paul, broke ranks to co-sponsor the measure with Democrat Tim Kaine. President Trump vowed to veto the bill, while the senators emphasized constitutional duty. The resolution follows a controversial US special forces raid on Caracas, capturing Maduro and his wife on drug charges, amid reports of hundreds of deaths. A similar bill is moving in the House, but the Senate measure still faces debate and a potential Trump veto. Democrats hope the vote will open public discussion on military limits, potentially curbing actions elsewhere. Checkout Solipillow.com
