Keri can think of no better example than the new film Good Luck to You, Leo Grand. Emma Thompson plays an important role in the movie, effectively conveying the experience most women face due to cultural norms. Due to patriarchal thinking, women live in suppression, are told their bodies are irrelevant as they age, and lose respect and grace as they age.

A first class move requires courage, and Emma Thompson embodies this in the film beautifully. Emma plays the role of a woman in her sixties who has been married for most of her life, but when her husband passes away, she realizes she has never experienced an orgasm, so she hires a sex worker to help her achieve it.

Keeping spoilers to a minimum, Keri discusses how she related to the thoughts and feelings expressed throughout the film by the main character and believes this film will resonate with most women. Women often feel irrelevant, undesirable, or unworthy of intimacy as they age, and younger women often feel the need to reverse aging in order to feel worthy. It is a great starting point if you have ever experienced such thoughts or if you want to gain a deeper understanding of them.
